Drugged/Delirium

I wake to a red yarn bracelet

inserted

in my wrist. I said no to the

shadows

flickering just outside the corner

visions

I tried to ignore them as the nurse spoke

loudly

telling me the call button is not a

scream

She loves all things ancient. She works in a second grade classroom and in her free time she likes to drive the dirt roads around Lincoln.
